My name is Maximo (he/him). I’m a 34-year-old, self-taught Visual Designer, Art Director, and Design Manager, with a BA in Advertising.

I’ve been working in and with some of the biggest agencies and design studios in the world, for more than 10 years.

Coming from an advertising background has always been a great advantage to my work. I believe the goal in design is not only to create something that looks incredible. Design must tell a story, have a reason why, it must be functional and user friendly, it must be aligned to the brand’s identity while making it evolve. Design must be smart, impactful, speak to the right people in the right way, be memorable, and with that, those results we’re looking for will come.

My favorite projects are those where we can work horizontally and collaboratively, in diverse teams of passionate and talented people from different backgrounds. This is of outmost importance to me, either when working as part of a company, or as a Freelancer.

As a Designer, I’ve done pretty much anything, but my areas of expertise are key visuals, branding, rebranding, campaigns from concept to completion, illustration, retouching, and presentations.

As a Manager, I have a lot of experience working with teams from 5 to 20+ people, coaching, mentoring, providing feedback, giving client as well as internal presentations. I also have experience planning and directing shoots, conceptualizing campaigns, and working collaboratively with other studios.

I’m from Buenos Aires and I live with my dog, Kimchi, in an apartment surrounded by plants, books, and eclectic decor. I love art, pop culture, fashion, interior design, literature, and most of all: learning. I also enjoy writing, and I’m an active member in the LGBTQ+ Community.
